I love art contests. They not only challenge me, but also help me to grow as a better artist. Even better, if you are lucky enough, you will get prizes. Who doesn't like prize and recognitions?! I was lucky enough to win several art contests in my life, and my self-esteem would boost up through the sky every time I win contests. It's just fun to enter anyway!
This is why I encourage my students to enter contests regardless the result. The most important thing about entering contests is that you "tried". I hope my students understand that.
Speaking of the contest, I learned of Doodle 4 Google Contest a few years ago, and always wanted my students try it. The deadline is approaching in March. So brave students out there who like to challenge your self, GO enter! If you need any help, please let me know!
This year's theme is: If I could travel in time, I'd visit...
