Busy Bees in Art Room!

Wow, it's hard to believe it's already end of November.  Time surely goes fast and we artists have been very busy with creating awesome artwork!  Here are some snapshots of our FO Artists:

Happy Fire Prevention Week!  We enjoyed splattering paint to make this Fire Dog and learning about the fire safety tips.

1st graders had a blast drawing a monster using a dice game, and learned how to mix colors and shade.

2nd graders enjoyed this symmetrical pumpkin collage project and filling it with zentangle pattern!

3rd-5th graders are very busy learning artistic behavior by planning, setting their art space, and work hard on their own!

The weaving project with a still life twist!  Weaving over-under over-under can be tricky but 1st and 2nd graders did their best and did a fantastic job!

We synergized and worked together to complete the weaving project.

New studio this year!  Printmaking is a big hit among 3rd-5th graders.  Students had to clean the styrofoam plates from cafeteria, trim it, design their picture on it, and print!  What a fun project.
