What's been up to in the Art Room?

Wow!  What a busy art making school year it has been!  In Art, we have been focusing on being an Art Leader as we set up our own work space, work on our own, and clean up our own mess.  Students were introduced to a variety of studios such as drawing, painting, puppetry, origami, etc. and were allowed to choose a studio to work on.  In order to engage students at all times, I combined the choice based model with a gamification concept.  Each time students complete a project, they may earn a certain point to earn small prizes plus a field trip with 10,000 points!  Yes, many students have been working hard on this Art Game! :)
