The Leader in Me

I wandered around Barns and Noble today like a hugry hyena looking for a good book for my school, and surely I found one! The Leader in Me was written by Stephen Covey who wrote The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and the book is for teachers, administrators and parents who would like to implement the 7 Habits in the school or home. Our school launched the school-wide leadership program using 7 Habits of Happy Kids book and this book is like a bible to me to incorporate the habits in my classroom. There were some great visuals of art projects that I was deeply inspired, I almost want to contact the art teacher at A.B Combs Elementary School, the school that has successfully implemented the Habits. For the next two days of my winter break, I sure have a great book to read. :)
